In May of 2016, EDWARD Transportation began with a single vehicle, a vision for exceptional service, and one driver determined to build something different.

Over Memorial Day weekend that year, founder Edward C. Tracey launched the company servicing guests traveling between Jekyll Island hotels and area airports. What started as a small local operation quickly gained momentum through a commitment to professionalism, reliability, and genuine hospitality.

Ten years later, that vision has grown into one of the highest-rated luxury transportation companies in Coastal Georgia and Northeast Florida.

Today, EDWARD Transportation proudly celebrates:

From Local Startup to Regional Leader

After quickly expanding beyond Jekyll Island, EDWARD Transportation added additional drivers and expanded service to St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Brunswick, and surrounding coastal communities.

In 2018, the company invested in professional transportation software and infrastructure to support long-term growth. By May 2019, EDWARD Transportation officially incorporated and continued expanding both its fleet and team.

The company’s reach expanded dramatically in 2020, growing throughout Coastal Georgia, southeast coastal South Carolina, Statesboro, Jacksonville, and surrounding areas.

In February 2022, EDWARD Transportation acquired Golden Isles Executive Transportation on St. Simons Island, strengthening its presence in the luxury transportation market even further.

Growth continued in 2025 with expansion into Dublin, Georgia, and now, in May 2026, into Macon, Georgia.

What began as a local transportation company has evolved into a trusted regional network servicing:
